Lease Signed for Restaurant, Café, Bakery and Catering Venue at 450 West 33rd Street

A long and diligent search for a high-quality restaurant operator to take over the vacant 15,000 square feet of hospitality space at West 33rd Street and Tenth Avenue has been concluded. A lease has been signed between the building owners, Broadway Partners, and Simon Oren, owner of the highly popular New York based Tour De France Group. Frame Gourmet Eatery Brings Sushi, Salads, Soups, Sandwiches and Udon Noodles to 33rd Street, West of Ninth

Since the iconic Cheyenne Diner closed on the corner of West 33rd Street and Ninth Avenue, there’s been a gap in the foodservice offerings on the block until you reach Tenth Avenue and Seattle Café. In March that’s going to change with the opening of the 2,700 square-foot Frame Gourmet Eatery on the south side of the block. New Hampton Inn on West 35th Street Attracts Families, Sports Fans and Business Guests

The new hotel on West 35th Street, named the Hampton Inn Manhattan - 35th Street/Empire State Building, opened on October 16 in time for the holiday and New Year’s Eve crowds that converged on midtown. Despite a gloomy end to the year, the new 20-story, 146-room inn reported 98% occupancy through December 26 – 31. Hilton Garden Inn is Open. Will 35th Street become the new “Hotel Row?”

With the new Hampton Inn already doing a brisk business on 35th Street, just east of Sixth Avenue, its new 31-story neighbor, has opened its doors and added another branded hotel to the growing hospitality scene along the block. The new Hilton Garden Inn New York / West 35th Street adds 298 guest rooms, including two suites, to the increasing inventory of comfortable, moderately-priced lodging options in the neighborhood.
